Turn loose thoughts into tasks you can find later.
Good ideas tend to show up in the middle of a conversation about something else. If they stay in the chat, they get lost with it.
Ask your AI to save them to Organarium as you go. They become tasks you can see on your board, and any later session can read them.
Get action items out of a brainstorm
Talk the idea through with your AI for as long as you like. When you finish, ask it to go back over the conversation and keep only what someone has to do.
- Brainstorm as usual, or paste the notes or transcript of a meeting.
- Ask for the action items, and have your AI show you anything it isn't sure about before saving.
- Open your board to check the result. Your next session can start from those tasks.

Prompt: save the action items
Send this at the end of the conversation.
Go back through this conversation and pull out every action item. Save them to my Organarium project "Newsletter launch". Create the project if it doesn't exist.
For each one, create a task with:
- A title that starts with a verb.
- A description with why it matters and what we decided, so it makes sense without this chat.
- A priority based on what we said.
Put what should happen first in Up next and the rest in Backlog. Skip ideas we dropped. If you aren't sure whether something is an action item, ask me before saving it.Save an idea or task in one sentence
When you're busy with something else, you want the thought saved and the conversation back on track. One sentence is enough, as long as your AI knows not to start on it.
Prompt: save it and move on
Add to my Organarium project "Side projects", in Backlog: compare hosting options before the launch. Don't plan it or start on it, just save it and carry on with what we were doing.Skill: capture
In Claude Code, save this as .claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md. With any other connected AI, paste it at the start of a conversation.

name: capture
description: Save an idea or task to Organarium without starting on it. Use when I say "save this", "note this", "remind me to" or "add a task".
---
Save what I said to Organarium as one task, then go back to what we were doing.
1. Use the project I named. If I didn't name one, use the project this conversation is about. If there isn't one, use a project called "Inbox", and create it if it doesn't exist.
2. Write a short title that starts with a verb. Put any useful detail from this conversation in the description, so it makes sense later on its own.
3. Put it in Backlog with mid priority, unless I said otherwise.
4. Confirm in one line, with the title and the project.
Don't break it into steps, research it or start the work unless I ask.Keep personal lists, like the groceries
Your tasks don't all have to be about work. Keep a Home project with one task for the shopping and one subtask per item. After you shop, send your AI a photo of the receipt and let it check off what you bought.
- Dictate or type the list. Each item becomes a subtask.
- Shop, then send a photo of the receipt to your AI.
- Your AI reads the receipt and updates the list. Whatever is left stays there for next time.
Prompt: make the list
In my Organarium project "Home", create a task called "Groceries" and add each of these as a subtask: milk, eggs, coffee, tomatoes, dish soap.Prompt: update it from a receipt
Attach the photo of the receipt to this message.
This is my receipt. In the "Groceries" task of my Organarium project "Home":
- Check off everything on the list that I bought.
- Add anything I bought that wasn't on the list, as a subtask that's already checked.
- Tell me what's still on the list.
Receipts abbreviate product names. If you can't tell whether an item matches, ask me instead of guessing. What to expect
- Your AI client does the reading and the thinking. Organarium stores the tasks it creates.
- Reading a receipt needs a client that accepts photos and can use connected tools in the same conversation. Organarium doesn't store the photo.
- Saving ideas by voice needs a client that exposes connected tools during voice sessions. Organarium doesn't record or transcribe audio.
More ways to use Organarium
Split long work into stages
Give each stage its own task and deliverable. If your agent runs out of tokens, another session can read the board and continue.
Run several agents from one board
Let one agent plan and others do the work, even across different AIs. Or keep an agent working through the tasks you approve from another session.
Check each step before the next one
Build long processes where every step is documented in a task, and a reviewer approves it or requests changes before work moves on.
